Gospel Truth Pentecostal Church is pastored by the Rev. James Sanders. Rev. and Sis. Sanders came to Gospel Truth on June 20, 1998 and called it home from that point on. For the next three years The Sanders would labor as Assistant Pastor. Rev. Sanders was elected pastor in June of 2001 and assumed the pastorate on July 1, 2001 at the age of 29. Pastor Sanders attended Texas Bible College in Houston, Texas. Prior to moving to Houston to attend TBC, Pastor Sanders sat under the ministry of who he calls two of the finest men to ever preach "The Gospel." His home pastor Rev. Jerrol Wallace of Moss Hill, Texas and Rev. David Myer of Groves, Texas. Pastor Sanders attributes his leadership style to these two contenders of the faith. The Wallace's and The Myer's along with their families are held in the highest esteem and admiration. Pastor Sanders was married in June of 1998 to Tracey Folks of Houston. Pastor & Sis. Sanders' desire is to build on the rich heritage of Gospel Truth and pursue Apostolic Revival like never before. It has been said that the Sanders' never meet a stranger. Their love for people is easily recognized and is evidenced by this thriving multicultural church. Pastor and Sis. Sanders have three children Jaymie, Will and Victoria.
